FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What information do you need to start detailing?

Architectural plans, structural engineering drawings, survey reports (if available), and any specific client requirements. We can work with preliminary drawings and update as designs develop.

  • Do your drawings comply with Australian building codes?

Absolutely. Our drawings will be done to the specifications outlined by the architectural & engineering plans. All drawings comply with AS 3600 (Concrete Structures), AS/NZS 1170 (Structural Design Actions), and relevant state building codes. We're familiar with requirements across all Australian states.

  • How much do your detailing services cost?

Pricing depends on project complexity, square meters, and timeline requirements. As a small business operation, we provide competitive rates, with scale & repetiveness taken into consideration.

  • What if changes are needed after your drawings are completed?

Minor revisions & architectural changes are included in our service. For major design changes, particularly if drawings are already complete, we provide transparent pricing and fast turnaround, usually billed at an hourly rate.

  • Do you detail both precast and cast-on-site panels?

Yes, we detail both, and understand the different bracing & lifting requirements involved. Whether you're casting panels onsite or manufacturing offsite, we provide the appropriate drawings considering transport, lifting, and erection details for each method.

  • What's your capacity for large projects?

We can handle projects from single industrial units to multi-unit commercial developments with hundreds of panels. If we can't take on a project (usually due to scale & timing), we'll be upfront and glady recommend you to other firms.
